Not only does this assist in deterring theft (as those whom you're observing have a hard time determining the direction the cameras pointing), it's readily accepted as a 'polite method' for monitoring. The Domes include a Sony 1/3" CCD that offer 420 resolution lines for B/W at 0.1 lux and 380 resolution lines for Color at 0.5 lux. Their 3.6mm wide angle lens offer you a large range of view and automatically adjust to light changes. They're small (approx. 5 inches) and can be manually rotated 360°, with +/- 90° tilt angle!
